Cash Out

These terms and conditions are applicable to our Cash Out feature as defined below. Please ensure you have read and understood them before using this feature.

Definitions:

  • Reference to “Betika” “We” “our” or “Us” is reference to Addis Telco Company Limited, trading as Betika.
  • Reference to “You” “Your’ the “Player” or “Customer(s)” is reference to any person using the our services.
  • Reference to “General Terms and Conditions” is reference to Betika’s general terms and conditions available at here
  • Reference to “Bonus” is reference to a non-cash consolation prize that is granted to a customer by Betika. The bonus shall be reflected in a customer’s bonus wallet and may be used to place bets or converted to cash under certain circumstances which are determined by Betika from time to time.
  • Reference to “Channels” is reference to all available platforms or Devices used to access the our services.
  • Reference to “Device” is reference to any unit of physical hardware or equipment that provides one or more computing functions or any electronic element with computing ability.

Terms and conditions

  • The Cash Out Feature (‘Cash Out’) allows You to get money back on event(s) You have bet on prior to them ending.
  • Cash Out is available on selected events, fixtures and markets: both pre-match and live.
  • Cash Out will apply on both single and multi-bets.
  • Cash Out is available on all online channels which include the Betika App, mobile, lite, and desktop.
  • Cash Out will be made available on the “My bets” tab on Your profile, where the current values on Your available cash out options shall be displayed from time to time
  • When You have decided to Cash Out, click the “Cash out” button:
    • There is a timer in between requesting and accepting a Cash Out request. If the cash out amount changes or a specific market is suspended, then the Cash Out request will not be accepted.
    • If the Cash Out request is successful, this will be displayed, and the bet will be settled immediately.
  • Cash Out is not applicable to the following:
    • bonus bets;
    • Retail bets or shop bets.
    • bets with a possible win of less than Birr 5/-; and
    • bets placed on combobet (shikisha or betbuilder), or jackpot bets.
  • Cash Out is a live feature with fluctuating odds, it is the Customer’s responsibility to check and confirm the odds and the payout of any Cash Out BEFORE requesting a Cash Out, we shall have no liability in this regard.
  • The acceptance of a Cash Out request does not represent a new bet or wager; it is an agreement to end the original bet placed before the event is resulted.
  • Where a Cash Out request has been accepted the original bet will be deemed to have been settled and Betika shall have no further obligation to you in respect of the original bet.
  • The Cash Out amount offered at any time is the total amount that will be returned to your account if the Cash Out request is successful (less any applicable taxes).
  • Betika does not guarantee the availability of Cash Out on all devices and channels or its availability all the time.
  • You will not be eligible for any bonuses or any other promotions in relation to wagers that have been successfully cashed out.
  • Betika will not be liable for any losses which may arise in connection with a Customer’s use of Cash Out or a Cash Out request being accepted or declined by us.
  • Betika cannot guarantee that Cash Out will be available on your bet selection. Where Cash Out is available pre-event and we do not cover or we stop covering the event live, then Cash Out will be unavailable once the event starts or when our live coverage stops.
  • Cash Out will not be available when a market is suspended or an event is cancelled.
  • Betika reserves the right to accept or decline any bet/wager requested for any sport, competition, market or bet type that is included in Cash Out.
  • Betika reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove the Cash Out feature (or any part of it) at any time for any event, fixture, market or customer. Any bets placed on such events, fixtures or markets will stand as originally placed.
  • Betika reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a Cash Out if the bet or a market is settled in error, or the event is delayed, postponed or cancelled.
  • Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  • The Cash Out terms may be amended from time to time by Betika at its sole discretion.
  • This feature is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of title, non-infringement, non-interference, accuracy of data, accuracy of translation, availability, timing, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, other than those warranties which are implied by and incapable of exclusion, restriction, or modification under the laws applicable to Betika’s General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
